Each year, close to 40% of the revenue raised to support the many programs of Oasis is generated from events - those hosted by Oasis as well as those hosted by our partners in the community.

    And they're off! Join us at the 8th Annual Night at the Races. This fun filled night of virtual horse racing also includes a delicious family-style beefsteak dinner. Enjoy 3 races with 12 different horses in each race. Guests can bet using "funny money" and race winnings are converted into tricky tray raffle tickets.

    The Oasis Gala of Hope, now in its 24th year, is the organization's longest running fundraising event, supporting a significant portion of our annual operating budget. Last year's Gala raised a record breaking $1.1 million dollars in support of Oasis programs!


    Join over 500 guests for a magical evening that includes a cocktail reception, formal dinner, silent auction of over 150 baskets, live auction, music from Bud Maltin Metropolitan Music, and a special performance from the children of the Michael Wagner After-School Academy.

    SAVE THE DATE for our 1st Annual Author's Luncheon featuring New York Times best-selling author, Amy Stewart. Amy's work includes Girl Waits with Gun and the rest of the Kopp Sisters series, which are based on the true story of one of America’s first female deputy sheriffs and her two rambunctious sisters. The books are in development with Amazon Studios for a television series. 


    Amy travels the country as a highly sought-after public speaker whose engaging lectures have inspired and entertained audiences at college campuses such as Cornell and Harvard, corporate offices like Google, conferences and book festivals, botanical gardens, bookstores, and libraries nationwide. 


    She has also been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition and Fresh Air, as well as on television, including CBS Sunday Morning, Good Morning America, and the PBS documentary The Botany of Desire.
